About Us
Schaben Services is located in McCook, NE and has been providing third-party CDL testing for 10 years and driver training for 30 years.
Chris Schaben, owner, ELDT instructor, and CDL third-party tester at Schaben Services, started driving for his dad's custom hay business in 1986; he then moved to the sanitation business and operated all classes of trucks for 20 years. During those 20 years he managed a fleet of 50 trucks for Waste Connections and was responsible for all DOT regulations and compliance as a district manager.

Courses and Services
Theory classes are offered online so you can complete them at your own pace.
Students may sign up for our online theory classes even if they do not plan to complete ELDT with us.
We offer Class A, Class B, Class C, Class B to A, School Bus, Passenger, and Hazmat courses.
During this one-day short course students will practice inspecting the vehicle, backing up, and driving.
To ensure the best student experience possible we cooperate with employers to make sure drivers are proficient in shifting and backing prior to their one-day course.Â
Students must have their own truck or work for a company that has their own truck.
We are an FMCSA certified traveling provider and will travel to your location in Nebraska, Kansas, or Colorado.
Schaben Services provides third-party CDL testing in Nebraska only.
Appointments for third-party CDL tests must be made a minimum of two days in advance (per state regulations).
*We can only test at our McCook location; we cannot travel to you to do the testing.
